Zusammenfassung
Bei der Organisationstheorie handelt es sich nicht um eine geschlossene, homogene Theorie; ganz im Gegenteil zeichnet sie sich durch eine Vielfalt unterschiedlicher Perspektiven und Paradigmen aus. Dies ist jedoch keine Schwäche oder ein Makel, sondern ergibt sich aus dem Gegenstand; so hängt die Entscheidung für eine Forschungsperspektive wesentlich von z. T. impliziten Vorentscheidungen ab. Dieses Kapitel stellt daher die wichtigsten theoretischen Strömungen in der Organisationsforschung vor und ordnet diese ein.
