Abstract
The following section critically illustrates possible limitations of this research project and further research possibilities considering theoretical, data and variable (8.2), and methodological (8.3) limitations to improve the research and deepen the knowledge of how schools and education systems may affect gender-specific educational inequalities in mathematics and reading competencies.
