Zusammenfassung
Mit Hilfe von Suchmaschinen und Algorithmen können Gesundheitsinformationen zugänglicher und nützlicher gemacht werden. Um Informationsasymmetrien aufzubrechen und den Patienten in den Mittelpunkt zu stellen, ist jedoch der strategische Einsatz von Technologien, Plattformen und Partnerschaften notwendig. Dazu gehört auch die Organisation und Strukturierung immenser, verteilter und unstrukturierter Datenbestände, wie sie im Gesundheitssystem existieren. Dadurch können Gesundheitsdienstleister relevante Daten in einem integrierten Längsschnitt analysieren. Insbesondere Krankenhäuser sind mit der Herausforderung konfrontiert, dass Daten in unterschiedlichen Silos und Formaten verteilt sind und dass in einer stark regulierten Branche unterschiedliche Anforderungen bestehen. Bevor Institutionen neue KI-gestützte Verfahren einsetzen, müssen sie Herr ihrer Daten werden. Doch diese Herausforderungen sind für einige Kliniken so groß, dass sie neue Experten im Bereich Digitalisierung hinzuziehen. Diese sollen helfen, die effektive Nutzung von Gesundheitsdaten als Basis fortschrittlicher KI-Diagnosewerkzeuge zu gewährleisten.
