Zusammenfassung

Das Metaversum birgt als virtuelle Welt, die primär auf den Fortschritten der VR- und AR- sowie der Blockchain-Technologien basiert, sowohl Chancen als auch Risiken in Bezug auf die physische Welt. Eine mögliche Konsequenz der zunehmenden Verbreitung des Metaversums ist die Abnahme realer sozialer Interaktionen, da die Menschen einen beträchtlichen Teil ihrer Zeit in dieser virtuellen Umgebung verbringen könnten. Dies könnte negative Auswirkungen auf soziale Beziehungen und psychische Gesundheit nach sich ziehen, einschließlich der Vernachlässigung körperlicher Gesundheit durch mangelnde Bewegung. [ZUC13]
