Zusammenfassung
Wer an Führung denkt, denkt an bestimmte Personen und erwartet bestimmte Personen. Dieses Phänomen wird in der Forschung auf folgende Formel gebracht: „Think manager, think male“. Auf Deutsch: Wer an Führung denkt, denkt an einen Mann. Das hat auch Professorin Amanda Sinclair erfahren, die diese unangenehme Einschätzung ihres von der Norm abweichenden und scheinbar unzulänglichen weiblichen Äußeren im einleitenden Zitat beschreibt. Als ob ihre Erscheinung dann mit großen Errungenschaften und daraus resultierender Reputation kompensiert werden müsste!
