Zusammenfassung
Erholung ist essenziell für die körperliche und mentale Gesundheit und damit auch eine Voraussetzung für Leistungsfähigkeit. Durch wirksame Erholung können negative Auswirkungen von Stress verhindert oder zumindest reduziert werden. Bedeutend ist dabei, dass Erholung regelmäßig stattfindet, damit Stressfolgen nicht chronisch werden. Es gibt verschiedene Aktivitäten, die zu einer nachhaltigen Erholung beitragen. Forschungsergebnisse zeigen vor allem eine hohe Wirksamkeit von Bewegung, Abschalten von der Arbeit und Entspannung. Organisationen können durch ihre Kultur, Führung, Büro- & Arbeitsgestaltung gesundheitsförderliche Rahmenbedingungen schaffen, die die Erholung ihrer MitarbeiterInnen fördert.
