Zusammenfassung
Der vorliegende Beitrag betrachtet Verschiebungs- und Grenzauflösungsprozesse zwischen Journalismus und Public Relations auf individueller Ebene. Dazu identifiziert er zunächst verschiedene Akteurstypen, die von solchen Grenzerosionen besonders betroffen sind und zeigt auf, warum diese Verschmelzungsprozesse zu Konflikt- und Spannungsverhältnissen führen können. Das Ergebnis dieses Überblicks ist eine Systematisierung, die das Potenzial für Spannungen und Rollenkonflikte einerseits vom Tätigkeitsbereich und andererseits vom beruflichen Selbstverständnis der betroffenen Individuen sichtbar macht. Das mit journalistischen bzw. PR-bezogenen beruflichen Selbstverständnissen einhergehende Konfliktpotenzial hängt dabei eng mit den jeweiligen Tätigkeitsfeldern zusammen und unterscheidet sich entsprechend stark zwischen den verschiedenen Akteurstypen.
