Zusammenfassung
Architektur und Design tragen Verantwortung für menschliches Wohlbefinden, für Produktivität und gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhalt und sollten daher funktionale und ästhetische Aspekte menschlicher Bedürfnisse umfassend reflektieren. Das erfordert aktuelles Wissen aus vielen Disziplinen, insbesondere aus der Psychologie und den Lebens- und Neurowissenschaften, die inzwischen im Health Design und in den damit verbundenen Evidence Based Design Methodiken auch durchaus Beachtung gefunden haben. Dennoch gibt es dringenden Bedarf an übergreifenden, integrativen Betrachtungsmodellen der ästhetischen Erfahrung in Zusammenhang mit konkreten Ausdrucksformen der Architektur und des Designs. Der vorliegende Beitrag skizziert einen konzeptionellen Bezugsrahmen, der die Grundfunktionen der ästhetischen Erfahrung integrativ modelliert und zentrale ästhetische Wirkungsweisen beschreibt.
