Zusammenfassung
Anschläge und Amoktaten stehen als schwere zielgerichtete Gewalt besonders im Fokus der Öffentlichkeit. Sie verdeutlichen die Aktualität und Wichtigkeit evidenzbasierter und – aufgrund ihrer vielfältigen Hintergründe – phänomenübergreifender polizeilicher Gefährdungsbewertungen. Der vorliegende Beitrag beantwortet die Frage, welche Anforderungen aus polizeipsychologischer Sicht an die Fortentwicklung einer polizeilichen Gefährdungsbewertung bestehen, die in ein polizeiliches Bedrohungsmanagement eingebettet ist. Es werden Elemente dargestellt, die zum Gelingen einer solchen Gefährdungsbewertung bzw. -einschätzung im Rahmen des polizeilichen Bedrohungsmanagements beitragen.

Schwere zielgerichtete Gewalt beinhaltet Taten, bei denen im Vorfeld eine Auseinandersetzung mit (und zumeist Planung) der Tat stattfindet, die möglicherweise tödlich sind und wobei die Opfer gezielt oder zufällig ausgewählt sein können.

Falsch positive Einschätzung: Prognose eines hohen Risikos bei fehlendem tatsächlichen Gefährdungsrisiko.
