Abstract

The mobility of a person is determined by the number and quality of their opportunities – the space of opportunities. Hence, the mobility of people is dependent on the influence of external, public factors, which result from the transport system itself as well as from the influence of spatial, social and economic factors. In order to design mobility for everyone, the needs of the population and their existing spaces of opportunity must therefore be taken into account in transport planning.
