Abstract

This chapter describes the integration of a framework for the management and analysis of vehicle data for model-based driver assistance system development in teaching and research. The framework serves as an environment for the development of functionality using vehicle models that have been created within the context of the Wildauer Machines Works digital learning factory. Furthermore, it is described how a digital company can be used in teaching to show students at a university an as realistic as possible image of processes pursued in companies. Mechanisms are illustrated that can be used both for development processes and for the area of project management as well as for the subsequent transfer of knowledge. After showing how the framework can be used in practice on the basis of the description of its use, an outlook is given on future activities.
