Abstract
Unlike in Volume I (Schindler-Tschirner S and Schindler W, Mathematische Geschichten I – Graphen, Spiele und Beweise. Für begabte Schülerinnen und Schüler in der Grundschule. Springer Spektrum, 2019), in this volume we “calculate”. Thus, the children are on familiar ground. The instructor should use this to encourage and motivate especially those children who had difficulties with the considerations and reasoning from the first volume that was still unfamiliar to them.
