Abstract

As discussed in Chapter 2, technology can enhance FLEs’ role performance by helping them focus on carrying out their core activities. Conversely, when technology confronts FLEs with additional demands or arises job security concerns, it may also arouse work stress. Yet, the term ‘work stress’ does not have a consistent definition in academic literature.
