Zusammenfassung
Der Beitrag zeigt zunächst den theoretischen Hintergrund zu Coopetition sowie Herausforderungen und Grenzen des Smarthome-Markts auf. Anschließend folgt eine Untersuchung von Coopetition am Beispiel der Connectivity Standard Alliance, die aus einer Vielzahl von konkurrierenden Unternehmen besteht und einen neuen Konnektivitätsstandard für Smarthome-Geräte (MATTER) entwickelt hat. So wird zunächst auf die Gründe für Coopetition im Smarthome-Bereich eingegangen, bevor mögliche Auswirkungen von Coopetition auf Endverbraucher und Endverbraucherinnen erläutert werden.
