Zusammenfassung
Im Mittelpunkt von Kapitel 6 steht die Motivation und Bindung von Mitarbeitern in Non-Profit-Organisationen. Hier wird insbesondere auf die verhaltenswissenschaftliche Perspektive eingegangen. Die Unterscheidung zwischen intrinsischen und extrinsischen Motivationsfaktoren wird dargestellt und auf ein mögliches Zusammenspiel der beiden Motivationsarten eingegangen. Anhand des Job Characteristic Modells wird die inhaltliche Ausgestaltung der Arbeit und deren Implikationen für die Motivation und Arbeitszufriedenheit thematisiert. Es werden zudem theoretische Ansätze der Mitarbeiterbindung aufgegriffen und deren Implikationen für die Mitarbeiterbindung in Non-Profit-Organisationen aufgezeigt.
