Abstract
It is already clear that the post-pandemic world will be significantly different to the pre-pandemic one. We will face a new disruption with the move to the next level of remote work: hybrid work – a blended model where some employees are present in the workplace and others continue to work remotely. Hybrid meetings will be at the core of this new hybrid collaboration model. The scale of hybrid meetings might differ across generations, gender, nature of work, company culture, individual preferences and life stages. Hybrid meetings offer opportunities and challenges at the same time – for employees and companies. The new hybrid trend is engaging and inspiring for employees as they gain greater flexibility and autonomy. It also opens up new job opportunities even if they are tied to a certain place and not mobile and it reduces potential travel commitments which allow a better work-life balance. The aim of this chapter is to develop a playbook to design tomorrow’s hybrid culture.
