Abstract

The case studies presented in the following refer to a welfare state (Germany) and a state with a strong market economy (United States) in order to provide a more in-depth look at current developments in foodscapes. Since foodscapes of real socialist states today are rather historical recordings, we have refrained from including such a case study.
