Dieses Kapitel beschäftigt sich mit dem theoretischen Hintergrund zur Gruppendynamik, in dem der Ursprung dieser Forschung sowie dessen wissenschaftliche Verortung im Rahmen der Interventionsforschung dargestellt wird. Weiterhin wird die angewandte Gruppendynamik in der Praxis betrachtet und dabei vor allem das Format der Trainingsgruppe näher beschrieben.
