Zusammenfassung

Motivationalen Aspekten kommt im Strafvollzug eine große Bedeutung zu, denn ohne eine wenigstens grundlegende Bereitschaft der Gefangenen wird eine wirkungsvolle Arbeit an kriminalitätsbezogenen Schutz- und Risikofaktoren kaum möglich sein. Nach einer Begriffsdifferenzierung beschreibt der Beitrag individuelle und kontextuelle Bedingungen, unter denen die Veränderungs- und Behandlungsmotivation steigen sollte. Für die drei motivationalen Bereiche der Behandlungsteilnahme, des Behandlungsengagements und der persönlichen Veränderungsbereitschaft werden schließlich jeweils Anregungen zu ihrer Förderung formuliert.
