Zusammenfassung
Die vorliegende Forschung beschäftigt sich mit den Einflüssen von Chronotyp und chronischem Stress auf die Konzentrationsleistung nebenberuflich Studierender. 60 Studierende nahmen an einem Konzentrationstest nach Ibrahimovic und Bulheller (Konzentrationstest – KT: Ein Testverfahren zur Erfassung von konzentrierter Arbeitsleistung und Arbeitsqualität. Entwicklung, Evaluation und Normierung. Human-Factor-Services, Schwelm, 2004/2005) teil und füllten Fragebögen zur Bestimmung ihres Chronotyps (Roenneberg et al., J Biol Rhythms 18(1):80–90, 2003) und ihrer Stressbelastung (Schulz et al., Trierer Inventar zum chronischen Stress. Hogrefe, Göttingen, 2004) aus. Mithilfe von Korrelationstests, Varianzanalyse und t-Test zeigte sich, dass die chronische Stressbelastung der Studierenden, die in ihrer Selbsteinschätzung die Mehrfachbelastung von Studium, Beruf und Privatleben als Herausforderung empfanden, größer war als derjenigen Studierenden, die die gegenteilige Selbsteinschätzung hatten. Die Ergebnisse von überdurchschnittlicher Stressbelastung der gesamten Stichprobe zeigen den Bedarf an Unterstützungsleistung und Aufklärung zur Minderung chronischen Stresses. Die Uhrzeiten von Vorlesungen und Prüfungen sollten Rücksicht auf die Chronotypen nehmen, um gleiche Bedingungen für alle unterschiedlichen Chronotypen herzustellen.
