Abstract

A distinction is made between antigen-specific and antigen-unspecific diseases caused by gluten or wheat. Celiac disease and wheat allergies are antigen-specific diseases, while non-celiac non-wheat allergy wheat sensitivity is an antigen-unspecific disease.
