Abstract

Gluten is associated with intestinal and extraintestinal disorders, but only celiac disease and some forms of wheat allergies can be clearly attributed to gluten as a disease trigger. However, several factors can be considered for non-celiac non-wheat allergy-wheat sensitivity. The elimination of gluten from the diet should be medically justifiable.
