Zusammenfassung

Touristische Überentwicklungen können positive oder negative Auswirkungen in Destinationen mit sich bringen und somit den ursprünglichen Lebensraum beeinträchtigen. In diesem Zusammenhang ist eine verantwortungsvolle touristische Entwicklung getragen von UnternehmerInnen und somit von Entrepreneurship, für die Destinationsentwicklung von zentraler Bedeutung. Hinzu kommt die Forderung nach verantwortungsvollem Unternehmertum, nach Responsible Entrepreneurship. Nur durch die Berücksichtigung dieser Verantwortung kann der Tourismus adäquat auf die derzeitige Stagnation der Globalisierung, ausgelöst durch die COVID-19 Krise, reagieren.

Responsible Tourism Entrepreneurship zeigt, dass in den Bereichen: Wirtschaft, Soziales, Kultur, Ökologie und Governance Verantwortung übernommen werden soll. Diese Verantwortungsbereiche werden im Rahmen dieses Beitrags im Detail beschrieben, um Leitlinien für Responsible Tourism Entrepreneurship ableiten und Mechanismen für dessen Umsetzung aufzeigen zu können.
