Abstract
This chapter examines how study-related and non-study-related work experience from the Bachelor’s studies affects the chances of continuing on to Master’s studies. The theoretical expectation is that study-related jobs divert Bachelor’s graduates from Master’s studies because they enhance their chances on the labour market. This effect is expected to be much stronger among Bachelor’s graduates from less socio-economically advantaged backgrounds.
