Abstract
The following chapters examine the effects of student employment on educational and labour market outcomes. The aim is to provide a better understanding of the possible links between socio-economic differences in student employment and social inequalities in higher education. As shown above, Bachelor’s students from less advantaged backgrounds work more often during studies, spend more time on work, when employed, and have higher chances for low-skilled employment.
