Zusammenfassung
Nachdem wir uns mit dem Marktversagen beschäftigt haben, wollen wir nun der Frage nachgehen, ob die Politik Pareto-effizient oder gesellschaftlich nutzenmaximierend wirtschaftliche Entscheidungen trifft. Das Verhalten der Politiker und die für Entscheidungen notwendigen Abstimmungsverfahren bilden den politischen Entscheidungsrahmen für die Wirtschaftspolitik. Die Politik leitet die Demokratie und muss das Marktversagen beheben und Güter zur Verfügung stellen.

Political correctness wird hier politisch neutral als eine Meinungsvorgabe durch die, die öffentliche Meinung dominierende Gruppe verstanden. Andersdenkende werden von dieser Gruppe durch eine extreme moralische Ausgrenzung sanktioniert, wenn sie ihre Meinung äußern. Dies ist kein neues Phänomen.
