Abstract

There are still strong concerns, prejudices and fears about the use of psychedelics. Fortunately, taking ayahuasca is psychologically too demanding, physically too challenging and uncomfortable for becoming globally interesting as recreational drug. Furthermore, it has almost no addictive potential because there is no physiological tolerance.
