Vorrede | Peter Kappeler und Claudia Fichtel analysieren in ihrem Aufsatz die Kausalmechanismen hinter der Korrelation zwischen Ungleichheit und allerlei negativen Konsequenzen für Menschen und deren Gemeinwesen. Sie tun dies unter Rückgriff auf Befunde aus der evolutionären Anthropologie. Im Folgenden wird dieser Beitrag kritisch aus der Perspektive eines Politikwissenschaftlers diskutiert, der selbst solche interdisziplinär-humanwissenschaftliche Theorieintegration gleichsam ‚von der anderen Seite her‘ betreibt.
