Zusammenfassung
Bereits vor dem Höhepunkt der Sommersaison 2017 zeichnete sich ab, dass zum Ende des Tourismusjahres in vielen europäischen Tourismusdestinationen neue Rekorde fallen werden. Zahlreiche Destinationen wie Spanien, Italien und Griechenland können beachtliche Zuwächse an Ankünften und Übernachtungen verzeichnen. Auch der Deutschlandtourismus wird voraussichtlich in diesem Jahr das achte Rekordjahr in Folge verzeichnen dürfen (Zeit Online 2017b).
