Zusammenfassung
Destinations are competitive spatial units which need to be governed and managed in order to satisfy the expectations of tourists, focusing on the cultural and ethical values of tourism, and the quality of life and use of time of the local community (Pechlaner, Paniccia, Raich & Valeri, 2012). Mature destination are spatial units identified by unique historical, natural or cultural sites. Historical and cultural sites provide monuments, museums and cultural places to visit and experience, whose concentration in limited areas or in short temporary exhibitions can cause intense tourist traffic at particular times.
