Zusammenfassung
Events werden typischerweise als Instrument der Marketing-Kommunikation eingesetzt (Zanger/Drengner 2016) und weisen als solches eine Vielzahl von Gestaltungsparametern auf. Hierzu gehört u. a. die Definition der spezifischen Zielgruppen eines Events. Diese kann eine unternehmensexterne Gruppe (z. B. Kunden oder potenzielle Kunden) und / oder eine unternehmensinterne Gruppe (z. B. Mitarbeiter) umfassen (vgl. Drengner 2015, S. 3; Zanger/Drengner 2001, S. 19 ff.).
