Abstract

This chapter presents my effort to give a summary of Deweys lectures in China. At this point it is necessary, in my opinion, to point out to the readers that this chapter should be read together with Chapter 5; the explanations in Chapter 6 are not 100% in line with Dewey’s basic idea. An analysis of these circumstances can already be found in Chapter 5 and is not repeated in this chapter.
