Zusammenfassung
Der Beitrag untersucht die Bedeutung spiritueller und religiöser Bedürfnisse für die Lebenszufriedenheit von geflüchteten Menschen. Die Relevanz bedürfnisund ressourcenorientierter Ansätze zur Mobilisierung von Anpassungsverhalten und Coping wie auch die besondere Bedeutung von Religiosität und Spiritualität wurden in zahlreichen Studien hervorgehoben. Eigene Studienergebnisse mit einer Stichprobe von 763 Flüchtlingen in Bayern transferieren und überprüfen diese Zusammenhänge für den Kontext von Flucht und Migration. Es konnte gezeigt werden, dass die Berücksichtigung spiritueller Bedürfnisse wie auch die Mobilisierung religiös fundierter Copingstrategien positiv zur Lebenszufriedenheit Geflüchteter beitragen. Diese Ergebnisse bieten wertvolle Ansatzpunkte für die Integrationsarbeit. Für die Praxis muss konkret gefragt werden, wie derartige Bedürfnisse von Flüchtlingen erkannt und relevante Copingstrategien unterstützt werden können. Zudem müssen konkrete Konzepte für ihre systematische und professionelle Implementierung im psychosozialen und seelsorgerischen Handeln entwickelt werden.
