Zusammenfassung

Verantwortliche Forschung und Innovation (Responsible Research and Innovation, RRI) zielt darauf ab, Forschung und Innovation stärker mit gesellschaftlichen Bedarfen und Werten in Austausch zu bringen. Dies soll Qualität und Relevanz von Forschung und Innovation sowie ihre gesellschaftliche Wertschätzung stärken. RRI wurde in den letzten zehn Jahren als übergreifende Priorität in der Forschungsförderung der EU etabliert. Dazu wurde es in fünf verschiedene Dimensionen operationalisiert, die in verschiedener Weise zu dieser engeren Verknüpfung von Wissenschaft/Innovation auf der einen und Anforderungen gesellschaftlicher Gruppen auf der anderen Seite beitragen sollen.
