Zusammenfassung

Das im Titel auftauchende Adjektiv konfrontativ geht auf das lateinische Verb „confrontare“ = „Stirn gegen Stirn zusammenstellen“ zurück. Konfrontative Pädagoginnen und Pädagogen bieten devianten sowie delinquenten Kindern und Jugendlichen somit – im wörtlichen Sinne – die Stirn (vgl. Weidner et al. 2003, S. 11).
