Abstract

The following chapter proceeds in parallel to the analysis for Washington, D.C. A brief introduction outlines the main actors (7.1) before the model of urban development and its goals for the field of housing are presented (7.2). Subsequently, the concrete housing policy instruments are discussed (7.3) and their congruence with the model for urban development analyzed based on the structures and processes of policy-making and implementation in the city (7.4).
