Zwischenruf: Militärische Subjektivierung und (Geo)Politik der Materialität von Kindheit und Raum

Zusammenfassung

Dieser Zwischenruf widmet sich der Frage der Militarisierung und Subjektivierung von Kindern und Jugendlichen aus kritisch geographischer Perspektive. Er regt eine intensivere Auseinandersetzung mit der Einbettung militarisierter Objekte, Körper und Landschaften in Alltagsräumen von Kindern und Jugendlichen an und zeigt auf, wie eine solche Auseinandersetzung zu einer weiteren Hinterfragung der sozialen Konstruktion von Kindheit und Jugend ebenso führen kann wie zu einer Kritik militarisierter Sicherheitspolitik, u. a. durch die Problematisierung militarisierter Disziplinierungspraktiken und der Subjektivierung von Kindern und Jugendlichen. Anhand des Beispiels der Rekrutierungs- und politischen Bildungspraktiken der deutschen Bundeswehr wird aufgezeigt, dass auch jenseits einer expliziten Nutzung militärischer Praktiken zur Disziplinierung ‚ungezogener‘ Subjekte eine Einbeziehung von Kindern und Jugendlichen in die Ausübung des staatlichen Gewaltmonopols durch militärisch geprägte Praktiken und Diskurse stattfindet und dass diese zentral für die Reproduktion des Militärs und damit des staatlichen Gewaltmonopols ist. Diese Problematik zeigt auf, dass Kinder nicht ausgeschlossen vom, sondern zentral eingeschlossen in, den makropolitischen Raum sind.
