Innerhalb der empirischen Sozialforschung existiert eine Vielzahl qualitativer Forschungsmethoden (Flick u. a., 2009; Friebertshäuser & Langer, 2010) wie die Grounded Theory (Glaser & Strauss, 1973), die objektive Hermeneutik (Oevermann, Allert, Konau, & Krambeck, 1979), die qualitative Inhaltsanalyse (Mayring, 2010) oder etwa die dokumentarische Methode (Bohnsack, 1997), die grundsätzlich für die Auswertung des vorliegenden Datenmaterials geeignet sind.
