Zusammenfassung
Wenngleich Organisationen in den Wirtschaftswissenschaften häufig als Entität betrachtet werden, gilt, dass nicht die Organisation handelndes Subjekt ist, sondern vielmehr die verantwortlichen Akteure Entscheidungen und Handlungen auf organisationaler Ebene herbeiführen. Das Handeln der Organisation ist Resultat des Wahrnehmens, Interpretierens und Agierens der Individuen, insbesondere der strategischen Entscheidungsträger in der Organisation. Dieses Verständnis organisationalen Handelns als Summe individueller Handlungen kann, wie Cunha/Palma/da Costa (2006) konstatieren, ebenfalls auf Corporate Foresight übertragen werden: „[Foresight; Anm. d. Verf.] is […] a net of decisions made by agents“.
