Abstract

The following chapter consists of two sections. The first section reviews the advantages of a qualitative case study method, while the second describes the methodologies of the data collection and analysis processes. A brief introduction on case study design is followed by a discussion of the specific characteristics of different designs before the selection process for the case and the embedded unit of analysis is described in more detail.
