Abstract
The study reported was designed to identify state‐of‐the‐art airport productivity measurement in research and practice, as well as to identify practical examples of productivity improvement. Given the many factors, players, and partly contradicting standpoints on service productivity, this study chose to conduct exploratory research based on a series of expert interviews. Furthermore, prospective interviewees cover a relevant part of the German airport industry, which should yield a rich picture of productivity measurement in practice.
