Zusammenfassung
Der Kündigungsschutz ist eine wichtige Errungenschaft der Arbeiterbewegung. Gleichzeitig wird er häufig als Ursache von Arbeitsmarktrigiditäten und Segmentierung gesehen. In diesem Kapitel präsentieren und bewerten wir politikwissenschaftliche und ökonomische Sichtweisen auf den Kündigungsschutz sowie die Regulierung atypischer Beschäftigung. Neben einem Überblick historischer Entwicklungen bieten wir eine Diskussion von Reformoptionen.
