Zusammenfassung

In diesem Artikel wird argumentiert, dass es die Netzwerktheorie seit Harrison Whites (1992, 2008) Theoriekonzeption vermag symbolische Bezüge zu denken und systematisch einzubeziehen. Allerdings weist Whites Theorie eine Leerstelle in Bezug auf die praktische Bearbeitung unterschiedlicher institutioneller Logiken in Beziehungsgeflechten auf. Dieses Desiderat wird durch die Übertragung des Institutional-Logics-Ansatzes (Friedland und Alford 1991) auf Netzwerke behoben. Es wird somit davon ausgegangen, dass auch in Netzwerken verschiedene institutionelle Ordnungen Spannungslagen erzeugen, die praktisch bearbeitet werden müssen. Am Fallbeispiel eines Chefarztes für Kardiologie wird empirisch gezeigt, wie an den Grenzen der Organisation, insbesondere im Verhältnis zu den niedergelassenen Ärzten, die erwähnten Spannungslagen zwischen Medizin, Ökonomie und einer kleinstädtischen Logik in Bezug zueinander gesetzt werden.
