Zusammenfassung

Die rasante Entwicklung der Transport-, Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien hat in den vergangenen Jahrzehnten den Grad an internationaler Verflechtung – und zwar sowohl im Bereich des Außenhandels als auch bei den internationalen Kapitaltransaktionen – ständig zunehmen lassen, was zumeist mit dem Schlagwort „Globalisierung“ gekennzeichnet wird. Im Beitrag 3 (Internationaler Handel) wird insbesondere die Allokation von Produktionsfaktoren im Rahmen der Weltwirtschaft untersucht, die daraus resultierende Produktionsspezialisierung einzelner Länder sowie die darin zum Ausdruck kommende internationale Arbeitsteilung. Diese Analyse vollzieht sich im Rahmen einer Tauschwirtschaft, mit dem Schwerpunkt auf einer mikroökonomischen Betrachtung einzelner Güter, die exportiert oder importiert werden. Im Gegensatz dazu werden in diesem Beitrag Geld und in Geld ausgedrückte Preise berücksichtigt. Dadurch verlagert sich der Schwerpunkt der Analyse von einzelnen Gütern und Faktoren sowie deren Preisen zu Aggregaten.
