Abstract
The influence of aerodynamics on several vehicle functions, such as vehicle performance, fuel consumption, stability, thermal management, comfort, and safety, shows the interdisciplinary character of vehicle aerodynamics in the vehicle development process. The importance of aerodynamics has even increased lately, due to stricter legislation concerning fuel consumption and emissions.
