Die im Folgenden vorgestellte Form weiblicher „sexueller Devianz“ ist die der Homosexualität. Die Idee einer homosexuellen bzw. lesbischen Identität knüpft an eine dominant gesetzte Heterosexualität und den Rekurs auf ein binäres Geschlechtermodell an.
