Abstract

This thesis has analysed the contextuality of local renewable energy production. The underlying research interest was to study how renewable energy and the production of renewable energy are made sense of in different ways—not only within different projects, but also among different members of one project. Specifically, the analysis aimed to determine how energy production activities mutually are shaped by and shape the specific context in which they are enacted.
