Abstract

The SFP hydrolysis dynamics differ between proteasome subtypes. This could be due to differences in the peptide transport processes through the antechambers, differences in the interactions with the catalytic site, or a combination of both. In order to identify the origins of these differences, we calibrated the compartmentalised SFP model by Liepe et al. [1] to experimental data of SFP hydrolysis from different proteasome subtypes and compared the resulting parameter distributions among the proteasome subtypes.
