Zusammenfassung

Mesenchymale Stammzellen sind Stammzellen des Bindegewebes, die zu Fett-, Muskel-, Knorpel- und Knochenzellen differenzieren können. Sie sind maßgeblich an der Knochenbildung beteiligt. Die Alterung dieser Zellen kann auch für ein vermehrtes Absondern und Einlagern von Kalzium in Geweben verantwortlich sein.
