Zusammenfassung

In der Diskussion um die weitere Entwicklung der Sozialwirtschaft wird vermehrt die große Bedeutung von Social Startups bzw. Neuen Sozialen Unternehmen hervorgehoben. Aber es darf nicht aus dem Blick geraten, welche Innovationsimpulse von etablierten Unternehmen der Sozialwirtschaft ausgehen können. Daher widmet sich dieser Beitrag der Frage, wie Innovationen in solchen Unternehmen gefördert werden können. Nach der systematisierenden Vorstellung neuer Ansätze zum Generieren von Innovationen wird anhand eines Modellprojekts dargestellt, wie in einem großen traditionellen Sozialunternehmen Innovationen entwickelt werden können mittels eines Innovationslabors.
